Re: Rebolting Effort Details - Yank the Mank!

I appreciate everyone's efforts in re-bolting and removing mank, however please DO NOT rebolt my routes. I will take care of it myself.

Re: Bolting question

I have done it. Anchors on Convicted, on Loosen up, Fuzzy... Rick Weber pull tested these and they failed not as high as the Titt bolts, but I believe they failed much higher that Rawl 5 piece. What I did was buy a long piece of SS all thread ( 6 foot) and cut it to 6 in pieces and beveled the ends...

I will. I have my draws on the high hard one. Once I do the thing I'm taking them down. I took bad gear off res ansd replaced it before I did that route last week. ...I understand that you have only the best intentions. I hope that you don't misunderstand what I am saying. The goal of leaving all these routes in a safe state is noble. I think that the only way to truly achieve this goal is to remove fixed draws and concentrate on maintaining just the bolts and...

A lot of you are going to think that I am just saying this to be an asshole but here is my two cents. This is stupid idea. Fixed gear sucks. I think that we should go back to the time when if you wanted to do a route you climbed it with your draws and then you cleaned them, or maybe you left them fo...

My place is a bit off the beaten path (G-town) but if you all can stand the stench I'm in.
