Lexington Home Gym Boulder Comp

Post by sendit »

Alrighty, this is for the folks cool enough (that's my elitism coming through) to live in Lexington. Some of y'all may be familiar with the bike alleycat races that have been happening for the past 3 years or so here (www.lexrides.com)
Anyways, there are good home gyms here in town and some folks have been tossing around the idea of a Lexington home gym boulder comp/circuit.
It could be set up in different ways, but essentially we could be do 3 problems (or whatever) at home gym X then bike (or drive if you must) to the next home gym and do 3 more. It would be a cool way to get a tour of some of the home gyms in town. Ray is down, Bassett would have been but I'm sure the Cooper House would be down (where bassett went too).
Any other Lexington home gym owners out there interested? This is also an opportunity to show how awesome and better your gym is to the next guys.
The thinking is we get at least 3-4 gyms and end at one of them with a keg and other libations. Could be a fun way to kill off one of these hot nights.

Post up if your interested, have a gym you'd be willing to open up for a night or if you just want to do something like this.

Thanks,
niles

I'd love to do it for the ride and social scene but i doubt i'd be able to do any of the problems.

if pigsteak's pad is included, you can do the problems pawilkes. I refuse to set anything above v4...

count me in the circuit.

are you trying to hurt my self-esteem pig? or did your cronies set all the "harder than V4 problems" thus making your statement true?

i want in the circuit too; i'll be the fluffer who can't climb anything, but i'll certainly do some drinking afterward.
efil lanrete... i enjoy the sound, but in truth i find this seductively backward idea to be quite frightening

My place is a bit off the beaten path (G-town) but if you all can stand the stench I'm in.

Drat... I'd put a bike rack on my car and play if it were on a Friday or Saturday night, but you all have fun-- sounds sweet!
