or worse. all of the slashes that i'm thinking of would effectively downgrade the route. but some people hold that by downgrading routes people boost their egos that way. personally, i feel that if i'm doing a 12a and it feels more like an 11d, calling it an 11d is only honest and fairer to people that do pull down on legit 12s. i feel like it'd be an ego boost to put that climb in the same category as bare metal teen or the like.
