What I find real interesting is a report done on our local news station in Louisville yesterday around noon. A study was done on the top ten polls which tracked their polling results during the weeks leading upto the election. They were all over the place depending upon what side of the fence they were supporting. Yesterday morning, 7 out of 10 had Bush at 51% and Kerry at 48%. Interesting since this appears to be what the final tally turned out to be. The commentator stated that it doesn't matter how accurate the pollsters are throughout the campaign, their final polling results is all that matters.

After all the dust settles and the smoke clears, it is my hope that we, as a country, can put our differences aside, pull together, and rebuild a strong America.

Fact is, you're all silly.

The president is just a prop. Who really cares?

One dumb spokesman vs. One really really bad speaker.

Any win is a loss.

You're all blinded by the facts.

Don't relax just yet: according to the recent "authentic" video message, OBL plans to bankrupt the U.S. I bet he plans to drain social security.

Picking a president is like picking the lesser of two evils. Clinton did more damage to the environment than Bush has. Clinton's NAFTA has created more environmental harm than anything Bush has done.

The results of NAFTA confirm the worst fears of labor, human rights and environmental advocates.
1) Environmental degradation has continued along the border region and the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC), which was created under side agreements to deal with border pollution, has proved totally useless.
2) Rio Grande water quality has turned into an epidemic of pollution-related brain defects have hit area infants.
3) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency sent subpoenas to 95 U.S. firms involved in releasing chemicals into the New River on the border. Nearly 60 of the companies failed to comply and 31 challenged the subpoenas, under new NAFTA rules.
4) Drop of real wages for Mexican workers of 31 percent, while manufacturing productivity went up 64 percent in Mexico.
5) Rise in wealth of super billionaires, both in U.S. and Mexico (while poverty increased for the majority).
6) Hazardous waste is simply washed down the drain in Mexico. Only 70 of 352 industries generating hazardous waste report proper disposal.
7) Loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs in the US
8) Is not working like it should. It's a one way steet so far. Look at the huge trade deficit.

TradMike....

Nice. Clinton was the best republican president we've had in the last 30 years. I'd like to see the sources though, especially about NAFTA effects on environmental issues.
