I only trust my own draws. I made them myself out of 3mm cord and keychain carabiners. I also back up everyone of them with my own nuts which I made from leftover 3mm cord, a keychain biner, and a hardware store nut of varied size. I only trust my own gear, all that stuff hanging off the walls of the undertow and the madness cave would kill me.

Hate all you want doods, this issue needs to be resolved. The current system in the PMRP is creating unnecessary risk and preaching personal ethics is only half of the answer. Telling me shut the fuck up... Impressive guys, that will help fix the problem. That is if you were actually interested in trying to figure out a better way.

Jeff wrote:Really. It's time for this thread to die. Your passion is admirable Ian, the way you treat people who don't completely buy into your ideas is frankly embarising.
Well put. Ian - how many hours a day to you spend on this website?

Unless it's porn , folks tend to turn the channel when being preached to or told the exact thing over and over. Your mission has turned into one of those dog abuse commercials, first time ya see it , you shed a tear and think about, then after it's played 15 times during Frasier it kind of pisses you off , loses credibility and you change the channel everytime it comes on. Personally , the issue is there but is not the biggest we face in the region. I'm all about getting rid of the shit left hanging but your current approach is shooting yourself in the foot. Sit back, let it chill, talk about politics, porn or whatever it is the climbing Internet team thinks is trendy and revisit occationaly as the opportunity arises. As its going now, it's kind of goofy.

Funny, because it takes two to tango. You all have been a part of this thread as well. When people debated, yes I have engaged. But Matt, no one has to watch... That is completely by choice. It is possible to choose not to follow this thread. I do agree that this thread is about played out as it now more focused on me than any issue.
