I walk up to the route and think sport route.. I lower the route and climb the route and still think Sport route. I make it a sport route. Its only later that someone claims to have done it on gear. If I had known of course I would not have bolted it... but thats not the case.. Its about can you rea...

Bolting a trad line..

Someone bolts a line in the middle of nowhere thats looks like its never been done. After bolting it of course someone says I did that ten years ago on gear and i am chopping your bolts.. My question.. Is it legit to chop bolts if the route had never been documented or there were no signs it had eve...

Bishop just gives you more options.. the gorge is great. The bouldering really doesnt compare i think to Hueco though. Buttermilks are easily one of the most overrated boulders I have seen. nice setting though..
no hot springs in Hueco.

you dont really need one.. the pulloffs are obvious now ...along with the trails.. the routes are all steep and b/t 11a and 5.14 the bigger the pulloff the more moderates there are.. and there are always cars with climbing stickers.. to denote pulloffs

I know the entire SE generally sucks to climb in during the Summer but how bad is it in the shade at the RRG during the summer? is camping worse than climbing?
