BD is tried and True, I might even go as far as to say they are elite. They have a larger range then Metolius and I personally feel they have better action. This is correct I am the proud owner of 2 150LB Italian Mastiffs. I dont know what I would do w/o them. But I'm very sure they would make excellent "Ruff Pads"
