Just make sure the dog isn't going to randomly attack strangers. A friend of mine got bit in the leg by a so called "friendly" dog, and nearly fell off a cliff at the same time trying to avoid it.

We all know that the Red is no Seneca or Yosemite in respect to multipitch routes, however I know it has a handful of fairly decent two and even three pitch climbs. I am debating on what would be the best material for a cordelette. I have heard about perlon and 5.5 spectra by bluewater.
