Re: The anatomy of a overused crag?

In all fairness, some of the nastiest crags i have seen only have concentrations of 5.11 and harder routes. examples: bob marley and motherload have more shit and toilet paper than i have seen anywhere else (i am sure there are counter examples, but still).

Re: Dog trail to Y12 in Obed

last time i was there (last summer) there was no sign for the y12 wall, you just had to know where to turn. the trail to the ladder was pretty obvious, and the trail to the gully was faint but visible. i think some people still use it. if your dog is very big then i wouldn't brave the ladder. you ha...

Re: Attire

not much of a jogger or a basketball player. it seems to me that climbing is different than either of those examples though. but even still, one piece of clothing can have many uses. for example, i can do just about anything in a pair of swimming trunks. swim (of course), run, jog, climb, hike, or m...

Re: Dog trail to Y12 in Obed

yes there is a way. i haven't been there in a while so my memory may not serve me as well as it once did. as i recall, when you are getting close to the end of the approach (the ladder) you will see a faint trail that branches off to the left, BEFORE you get to the trail (which also branches off to ...
