Does Barack have some explaining to do?

Barack has tried to explain away his choice in a pastor, of the last twenty years, as being like that crazy uncle in the family. But watch this video clip and ask yourself, "What would my personal beliefs have to be to choose to spend twenty years of sundays listening to this jackass?"

What? Suddenly nobody wants to rip on religious crackpots? Wonder why.

I think after the conventions it is going to get pretty ugly between the Republicans and Democrats. There is kind of an uneasy silence from the GOP regarding all the mudslinging between Barack and Hillary.

My guess is that they are just on the sidelines taking notes right now. They have plenty on Hillary already, but Barack is an unknown entity. The GOP is just going to let Hillary do all the legwork of flushing everything out of Barack's past.

Does anyone care to be specific about what this guy said that is so bad, or makes him vaguely comparable to McCain's buddy John Hagee?

Remember, Obama has criticized and distanced himself from Minister Farrakhan, while McCain actively courted Hagee. John McCain said he is "very proud to have Pastor John Hagee’s support."

John Hagee on Catholics and the Catholic Church:
[quote="John Hagee"]"When Hitler became a global demonic monster, the Catholic Church and Pope Pius XII never, ever slightly criticized him.â€

"What exactly is so bad about Rev. Wright? Seriously, spell it out for me."

Other than the fact that his every word drips with hatred for Whitey? Oh, nothing really.

As for Hagee, are you saying he's been McCain's pastor and spiritual advisor for the past twenty years? Better call the networks. You wouldn't want a scoop like that to stay hidden on this forum.

tom, your post is confusing. it seems he hates Catholics and Jews but the first quotes are ambiguous as to whether he is criticizing the Catholics for supporting the Nazis or justifying Nazism. I assume if he hates Jews he would be for the Nazis and anyone that supported them. The only slightly reasonable conclusion is that you are an Antisemite or slightly less reasonable a Yosemite Sam.
