Kinda stumbled onto an interesting way to clean a steep route this weekend.
I keep a blackdiamond fifi hook on my gear sling to hang it up. Well I thought when lowing a freind off Iniquity sunday why not stick a biner on the hooks sling, and place the hook through the first bolt then the climber end of the rope through the biner. Eliminating the swing. Once he was down I could easy fling the hook out with the rope or push it through with a stick.

Good idea.
I'm with piggy... I'm only now learning the art of the stick clip. The manual came with my first set of matching draws...

I wish I had thought of that last week when we had an epic cleaning adventure at maple

geesh...that sitck clip trick is so 1999. I learned that back in the day when all the cool kids climbed at the Lode.
Speaking of the lode, I heard this awful rumor...I'll save that for a rainy day thread though.

Now, now rhunt ... I've heard you once claim how wrong it is to post rumors or go off hearsay without going directly to the source. Don't start something based on a rumor.
