Why did they close Jac Mac?

Post by waysteep »

Just saw on the online guide while I was reminescing through some old pics from the early 90's that Jac Mac was closed for some sort of study?

What was that about, and do they plan on opening it again?

'cause some people a long time ago left some broken pottery scattered in that area. And since their ain't enough money to lay a rubber barrier over the soil...you, me and everyone else has to stay off all those excellent climbs.

So - don't hold your breath.

Thanks. Guess I was always too busy looking up at the climbing to look down and see any pottery on the ground. Too bad they had to close the area. They were good fun climbs. There's plenty of other great climbing around anyways....
