Great climbing and I was out there during the summer time. It can get hot but you can find shade. Been awhile (12 years?) so I don't remember much else.

Have fun if you go!

Loved the place. Be sure to give yourself enough time to get to know the area. It took me a couple of days (and the better guidebook) to really get a feel for where everything was.
We were there in late April/early May. Still snow on the peaks but great climbing temps with some hot hikes down low.

no first hand experience but some folks I know rave on the place, camping amongst the boulders being a big hit as well as classic routes and stone, the only drawback I could perceive is that its in the middle of nowhere (man are you listening?)

i was out there last summer for a weekend, pretty cool place. we did some easy longer (5 pitch) bolted routes but I can't remember the names. if you want a fun, relaxed day go get on them. you can chase shade most of the day. theres a place in town that sells beer now, just got their license last summer. again, i can't remember the name but it was a neat little country store type place with good food.

grew up near there. it is a rad area, sort of like j-tree at altititude. there are lots of classics but they are sort of spaced out. lots of sporty routes with old bolts. for newer safer routes check out castle rock down the road. more of the same thing with modern development techniques.

whatever you do there it is pretty awesome. one of the prettiest places i have climbed.
