Fred at the Red

You may have read, in other threads, Fred Becky is coming to Red. With help of Rick and Liz we were able to encourage Fred to give a presentation at the Hostel on Saturday Nov 26th. This will be a dinner engagement with limited seating. We can facilitate 40 individuals with 15 seats already reserved. The cost per plate is $25.00. Drop me a PM if you would like a make a reservation for one or more of the remaining 25 seats and/or sleeping arrangements. The proceeds go to help Fred with speaking fees and travel expenses.
This is a unique opportunity to meet one of legends of climbing. Earlier this Fall we were able to facilitate visits from Malcolm Daly, Sean Patrick and Tonya Riggs. Next Spring, if things go as planned, we hope to have several other pro climbers climbing for four days in the Red.
Malcolm, Sean and Tonya are old friends and each of these individuals has reached levels of notoriety. When you listen to their epics, you find it is not the notoriety but the friends and relationships these adventures have yielded they hold so dear.
As we near the close of the 2005 season Shannon and I and the rest of the TNO gang would like to thank each of you for a great season. Thank you for your support and friendships. Thank you for breathing life back into the hostel and thank you most of all for those relationships that can only be described as “the fellowship of the rope”
