I had a co-worker who 'ordered' a Russian mail order bride. At the time we had a native Russian photographer so this guy was always buggin' him to translate literature and correspondence. So when he finally got his bride he brought her to work and then the comapny Christmas party to show her off. It was a scream.

In highschool I worked at a dry cleaners and we had a regular customer whom my boss knew went to Russia very often to get the young girls that were sold as mail order brides and bring them back here to their husbands/owners.

Hmmmm with a bit of photoshop editing, maybe I could sell off Mrs. Ynot.....

This was like seven years ago so my memory is a little foggy. But yeah she seemed attractive. She had big blonde hair and a big smile, wore a bright red dress. Her and Igor talked to each other in Russian....who knows what they were saying about her new 'husband'.

On a related note I had a buddy go to the Ukraine a couple of years ago to meet an internet pen pal of sorts. He made it back alone, although he could have had some company. The stories he told....

All this talk of mail order brides and whatnot, I sure am glad I met my wife in a climbing gym.
