It has been a week or two but there were some kids from Florida at the load and I witnessed my first groundfall. It had to be belayer failure but I called 911 and was really impressed by how quickly response arrived. Still it was a fucked up experience. The guy fell from the 5th bolt of chainsaw on the last pitch of their last day. Not good

Wow. That's frightening. I hope the kid's okay. Just goes to show that not just anyone can be trusted to belay you.
