Probably three or four feet. It looks to me like the photographer was standing in front of him to get that angle.

I was there. It's totally staged.
The pic was taken in Boulder Canyon this spring about 40' up Castle Rock just to the right of Country Club Crack.
I think the guys were from Wisconsin and they weren't even sharing the beer. I'm not even sure there actually WAS any beer.

i don't know. i think that for lil'ole'me and my fear of heights, i'd being an 8th of turkey.
lighter, smaller and gets the job done quicker.

oh wait, did you mean you'd need 8 pitchers...of beer?
