Need Moderation help

we need another moderator or 2 on this forum. If you are interested, please PM me. The qualifications we are looking for:

- if you can post on this forum, use quotes, read and send PM's, you have adequate computer skills.

- you need to be able to be on the forum regularly most of the time. You don't need to be on constantly, but in an average week you should already be checking in a couple times a day (or night) and reading more than just a few threads. Of course there can be days or weeks when you are not on at all. If you are any kind of climber (and not just a virtual climber), this is expected.

- you need to be objective. This is harder than it sounds, and the existing moderators reserve the right to tell you that you are an emotional cripple and you are kidding yourself if you think you can handle this.

- you need to be able to take criticism and not let it bother you. We can keep your status as a moderator private, but you will be required to send PM's to people that you moderate. If you do something you shouldn't, expect to be called out publically for it.

So that's pretty much it. PM me if you are interested, and the current moderators will talk a bunch of shit about you in the private forum and then make a decision. Thanks!

thanks to everyone who sent me PM's. We have enough volunteers now. We have commenced the shit talking and I will get back to each of you later today or tomorrow.

we had an overwhelming response. Okay, not overwhelming, but more than I expected. I think I have replied to everyone, but if I missed anyone, please PM me again.

Our new mods are: Horatio Felacio and 512OW. We considered Pigsteak, but he's a little too controversial.
