Maybe they were just having some fun with that piece of crap up there. They thought those suckers(petons) would hold a fall and just come right out when asked nicely. Did you see the ones they(the retro-petoners) lowered off of????Just for the record, I did clip the Retropetons.

I did that route in April and did not see any pitons that appeared to be new. Why would anyone bother?

Actually, the first ascent of Horny Bitch was as a face climb, and a later party retrocracked it. So if you used the crack at all, you're unethical. Oh, and that first jug for your left hand is out......unless you're wearing purple, and then you can use your ring finger on it.....but only if you're shoes have yellow laces.

I like retrocracks.

pitons on horny bitch? thanks for the info, sounds like booty wiating to be picked up. i've done HB and all you need is a standard rack and 2 ropes to get back to the ground.
