He's a nice guy, too. I met him in New Orleans once. He can play a really long show in the right kind of club.

Yeah, I just got that email too. I'm a big fan of Steve so I'll probably hit the KY.

Also, Thursday is Leo Kottke (so you think you know what a guitar sounds like?) and Friday is Black Keys at southgate house. http://www.southgatehouse.com That place is still on my top three list of venues to see a show so hit it if you can.

Plenty of other shit coming around in Feb so I'll post the hippie event schedule when I get a chance.

I wanted to see the Rapture at the Southgate House, but dropped the ball on that one. It definitely looks like a cool venue.

I just saw a poster for Yonder Mountain String Band on February 20th at Headliners Music Hall in Louisville. I'm going to try to get to that show if I'm in town, but I may take that week and head south with my little climber. If anyone is interested in joining me for either, let me know.

Steve Earle is great. We were just listening to the Live From The Bluebird CD in the van. Did anybody catch the tribute show he was on a few months back? It was on PBS.

See ya,

Howdy Dipsi:

How are you doing? I thought about you the other night. I was watching Mountain Stage and they had a great Bluegrass group on.

See ya,

Sandy, you don't have to be so subtle, sweetie. If you want to date me, just say so. You don't have to go asking the whole forum out. Anyway, I'm interested in either the string band or climbing down south-- keep me updated on what you're doing. You know my stalking you isn't limited to Red River Gorge.
