Indian Creek Road Closure
Indian Creek road is closed to vehicle traffic at the intersection with 612 (by the red barn). Flooding has caused the road grade to sink in the area prior to the split (9a and 9b, by the bridge and Pistol Ridge/Pebble Beach trailhead) and portions of 9b beyond that point are totally eroded. No ETA on a repair at this point. DBNF Cumberland District recommends keeping an eye on their Facebook page for updates.

Indian Creek Road Update, Red River Gorge, Cumberland Ranger District, June 27, 2019 – Menifee County and the U.S. Forest Service have worked together to make repairs necessary to reopen Indian Creek Road, Forest Service Road 9, to motor vehicles and the main portion of the road will reopen mid-afternoon on Friday, June 28th.
