stick clip

Post by steep4me »

Anyone find my ginormous stick clip at the motherlode parking area on Sat? I accidentally left it there. If you want it, you can have it.
If not, please leave it at the base of a cliff that could use it?

Thanks!

Hey girl,
There was a stick clip this weekend in the parking lot, leaning against some trees on the right hand side. Maybe you will luck out and it'll still be around.... good luck!

Hey,

I found that stick clip at the Lode and put it against that tree. When we came back after the day was done and it was still there, I brought it back to Miguel's and gave it to the front desk. If you call them, they should have it.

Cheers!

That was really going the extra mile--Thanks! I will grab it this weekend and give it to whoever can use it. I bought a new one yesterday ;-)

No worries. I know how that feels to lose a stick clip. It sucks! I left mine at Funk Rock and this guy took it. I ended up figuring out who it was and confronted him at Miguels a day after I left it there. It was super annoying to have to hunt him down and ask for it. It would have been way cooler if he'd just turned it in as "lost". Anyway, funny story, this same dude now works at Miguels and recognized me this past weekend. He made small talk to me about it. Apparently, he has now called stealing it "finding it" and my confronting him over it as "giving it back" - as if he was doing it out of kindness and not embarrassment.

What a douche! Oh well, karma will catch up to him.

Sorry you bought a new one already!

That's hilarious. actually, I was planning on buying a new one anyway. I ordered the Superclip online before I went up for the weekend--so, the best time to lose a stick clip. I am hoping to make someone's day by giving it away :-)
Pay it forward, right?
I use the same strategy that you do when I find stuff--find it--drop it at miguel's.
