Magazines

Post by Saxman »

Do you keep all of your magazines? Back when I was a teenager I kept all of the mags I subscribed to, but after several years I gave up because of lack of room. Do you keep all of your mags, just your climbing mags, or are you waiting for the day when all magazines will put their back issues online for a fee or free? I am tossing all of my mags now, but am considering keeping just Climbing and Rock and Ice.

Kept my climbng rags and some other various rags my sister had articles in. Got rid of my car audio mags when I sold the amps and subwoofers. I miss those days. I wish Climbing and R&I would at least put some sorta on line index or something.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Brent, have you been.. nevermind-

Anyone ever check out the Alpinist? Seems a little more classy than the standard rag but its also more $$- sometimes flipping through Climbing makes me think I'm reading Teen Beat.

I save adult mags, everything else gets tossed eventually. Someday the internet will break, and I'll have all the porn.

I wish I could find all my old Mad magazines... I don't remember ever throwing them away, so they're probably somewhere in my parents' basement. I've been saving my Climbing magazines from my subscription this year, but I'll probably end up giving them to someone else eventually. There's not much in there I'll go back to read.

Ask Charlie what I did with my back issues of R&I and Climbing ;)

I kept my Alpinist because they are an awesome. I almost have the complete run of them (stupid warehouse fire). Once they reprint Issue 21 and I buy 20 I'll have them all.
Screw you guys. I'm going bowling.

I have R&I and Climbing mags that date back to 1993. Not sure why I am keeping them :?
