well J.H. that is fair. Why didn't you just say so?
Question for you: have any of your recent bites drawn blood? I stomped on one of the dogs that "bit" you one night (totally my fault but accidental, of course) and she bit "at" me. She had my entire calf in her mouth and I could feel the light pressure of her teeth. She never actually "bit" me, though it might have looked that way to an observer. It was a warning, and I thought she exhibited great control considering I literally stomped on the poor thing. Personally I take blame for that and commend her for not doing what she could have done to me. She could have taken a significant chunk out of me if she wanted to do so, but did not.
So were you bitten? Or were they warnings? Seriously, do you know?
About your dog.
Sandy, Yes I do know and they were warnings on all three occasions. that's why I posted my original post.It is a warning. Not a threat. That's why the world is not short three dogs. They were just warnings. As for Nala, She is a very sketchy ass dog that needs a very, very attentive owner. I saw her bite a guy in the ass that was running by. Very funny stuff until a kid looses his/her face.
JH - Being attacked and being snapped at are two entirely different things. You didn't communicate this. You basically said, "I've been snapped at two times. Next time it happens I will kill the dog and beat the owner."
rhunt - There is a difference and it's not about accuracy issues. Every dog knows how to bite and most know they shouldn't bite a person. Dogs snap as a warning and they bite intentionally. It's their nature to know the difference. Ever watch a dog play with a puppy? They bite but not as hard.

Does he have a strange bear claw like appendage protruding from his neck? He kep petting it.
Artsay, I don't want to agrue what a 'snap' is but if a dog snaps at me or the owner tells me their dog snaps I take it to mean the dog bites.
That's all...
I am sympathetic to JH's point about 'out of control' dogs at the crag...but again he handled it poorly.
Oh and hey..shouldn't someone be threatening to 'ban' him from this web page? I mean just to be fair...
