TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: As God as my witness; The next dog that bites me, I will kill. I will kill it in front of you with my axe or machete. After that I will whip your ass. Then I will take its head to the health department and have it tested. No shit. I will hurt you, and kill it.
To prevent your dog from dying in front of you.(1) If it bites, warn me beforehand and it will be spared. Because I will not atempt to walk by it.(2) Keep your vicious dog on a leash away from the most obvious path.(3) The next time someone stashes their dog from the casual observer under a table, log, tree or in some other way sets the dog up to ambush targets of opertunity. The dog will die and you will get a double ass whipping.
This is your first, last and only warning: I will kill your dog and man or woman, I will whip your ass,
About your dog.
Man, I love dogs, but wouldn't think twice about using a stick clip on one that bit me. Doubt I would kill it though. Just remove the threat. And, no ass kicking for the owners, unless they decided to push the issue.

(A) I don't care if it was your dog or not.
(B) I don't know if it was on a leash. If it was, it was guarding the path
(c)Well, I was bit. It didn't break the skin. If it had've broke the skin the dog would be dead.
(D) Yes, she was standing right there beside the path and yet she did nothing to prevent her dog from biting me.
(E)Two year old or not. I get bit, the dog dies.
Gretchen, I am not angry and I don't have to be angry to do what I have resolved to do. If I am bitten by someones dog whether or not by intention or oversight. I will kill the dog.
The next time that I run across your sister or that dog. Take the dog in hand, warn me that it bites and I will avoid it, no problem. If you don't, you will be shy one dog.

Amen!
We currently have a dog issue beginning to brew at my regular crag. Finding dogcrap right at the belay area for a climb is absolutely uncalled for. There is also a quiet zone (Clearly listed in the guide book) where people are supposed to be extra quiet as to not disturb the land owners above the cliff and here you have a barking dog right in the zone. Get a clue! Only had one incident thankfully of a dog making me feel uneasy and the owners saying the same ol thing "oh.. he won't bite" all the while his teeth are clearly exposed. So basically you have to stand still and let the dog sniff ya up and down till it's satisfied. Yeah, that's why I go climbing, to have dogs sniff my crouch....ugh. Anyway... I doubt it takes long before the no animal rule gets put up on the kiosk and it's all because of the owners not the animals. You want your animal to be respected and tolerated, well then show some respect for other climbers and look after your dog and keep them completely under control and out of everyones way 100% of the time. If you can't do this then don't bring them. I'm hardly an animal hater, had dogs myself. It's really not a matter of hating the animals, it's just a matter of hating the annoyance.
