I think the most interesting part of "The Gumby Twinkie Experiment" (website & footage coming soon) is going to be project day 1, how about you? Will I finish the slab and get some excellent beta for lena_chita(I'm pretty short), or will I fail miserably? I wonder what bolt I'll get to, and all I do know is that if I had your attitude KD, I wouldn't even make it to stick clipping it.

What climber doesn't have too much time on their hands(that is probably why we started climbing in the first place) - 8 or more hours a week in the gym, all the driving to and from the Red River Gorge, staying there all weekend. Now repeat this process every weekend and you have a lot of wasted time. You could have probably built a house after a couple of years worth of climbing and training.

O if you were referring to the website and footage thing, I was joking about the website. I would like to get some footage though, I might as well bring my overweight tripod and camera up that tiny hill.

Golly, you want everybody to encourage your retarded thing but you don't want to encourage mine? Geez point-man - you hurt my feelings. Just wait - going to go out and video tape my epic attempt to cold on-sight. Then you'll be sorry you made fun of me!

He's just jealous your first time in the sailboat was with me and not him. You really are a great seaman KD. Too bad we didn't get to use the poop deck.

Speaking of which, here is a great poop / sailing story:

I grew up in Maryland, so go figure I love sailing, and boy do I have some stories to tell. In the Sea Explorers (it's like the cub scouts but it's for highschoolers only) we used to have this mini sail boat made out of plastic. We used to tip it upside down on purpose all the time just for kicks. One day this kid left his wallet on the deck and we didn't know that, and we tipped it on purpose just to mess with him. Boy did he get mad about that, and then our large boat comes cruising past, they were doing their noobie trip, and everyone on the deck was staring at us like wtf.

Ok now on to the good one: there was this kid Brandon who used to crap his pants all the time(keep in mind that this kid was in HS). Quick random side story: my brother was in the nurses office at school one day when the kids mom showed up and demanded that her son should get a permanent excuse note for going to the bathroom whenever he wants because of his bowel problem, my brother said he was face down on the stretcher crying he was laughing so hard. Ok back to the story, one day on our long cruise(we were going to go from maryland to South Carolina) I found a plastic bag full of shitty underwear, and was like omg, and I took a stick and threw the bag overboard. Well not much later ole Brandon noticed the bag was missing, and everyone pointed their fingers at me. So the skipper demanded that I get the mini sailboat out and go on a journey to retrieve a plastic bag with shitty underwear in it... What a crazy childhood memory, but honestly, I couldn't make up something as good as that if I tried.

EDITED BECAUSE I GOT BURNED SO BAD

Does the bathroom have a window?

That's what I get for drinking and using the internet at the same time.

KD wrote:I agree with mr point! I have recently taken a year off because of old fart elbow tendons and haven't climbed anything in that time to speak of. I usually was a pretty fair 10 climber but was thinking of projecting skeletor upon my return because 14's are just four numbers more than ten. Do you think i am hoping for too much?

also i am taking up sailing and have a small day sailer - i was thinking about sailing it to alaska sometime and then circumnavigating the globe with it. I think that that isnt too much of a jump from the ohio river or patoka lake because its just a little bit more water and i can swim.
I was hoping for a poop analogy.
