Again, if four cops can't handle one scrawny libby college kid, then they are useless. Same goes for the 200+ pound cop tasering the 100 lb drunk woman. In either incidence, no life was threatened, and no cop was in danger. In fact, the kid had his hands in the air the whole time.
Actually, should'nt the kid havve ceased and desisted when first asked to leave the podium???? Reguardless, if you think he was right or should have been allowed to talk, he was told to leave and he did'nt. I watched the video several times, as we all did, my personal opinion does'nt matter, but he did rudley push his way to the podium and then would'nt leave when asked to. This guy obviously thought the rules did'nt apply to him, like so many of the younger crowd, he wanted his way and he wanted it now, the rules did'nt matter, because what he had to say was more important than anyone or anything else!
Marathon Medic explained what the O.P.O.T.A (Ohio Peace Officers Training Assoc.) and most Police Academies teach all they're students about how fast a seemingly innocent encounter can turn ugly. I posted in another thread that it takes 20 seconds for an average person to clear 20 feet and stab you, the time obviously takes less if the person is 6 to 8 inches from you and is resisting arrest. Krampus, you miss and make your point at the same time. The police are trained to overwhelm and out power they're suspect at the same time, to limit his/her oppurtunity to injur them, the suspects safety is always second. Rolling around and trying to sit on him would not have stopped him, he would have continued on with more of the same. The reason they used several people is not because they were not well trained, but because that is they're training. They will pile on, wear him down, and cuff him if possible, if not, they go to the next level of they're force on force training. We can make hypothetical scenarios all we want, facts are facts, and the rest is warm fuzzy emotion based bullshit. He was rude, pushed people out of the way, was screaming uncontrollably at the speaker, was asked to leave several times, failed to comply, resisted being removed, and then resisted arrest. When the officers could not subdue him physically because of his level of aggression, to maintain they're safety, his safety, as well as the safety of others, they resorted (through training) to using a non-lethal means of subduing him. He is safe, he has not sustained long term injuries, it was not personal, Cincinnati police would have shot him for less. This in not a Right or Left issue, but a right or wrong one, after all it was Kerry and the kid was going on about Bush or some none sense. Do you really think those security guards simultaneously made they're decision to subdue him based on they're opposing political stances??? They were following the protocals of they're superiors, I know some of you don't like conformity or rules, but it makes the world go round. Eveytime a policeman, soldier, fireman, teacher, etc.etc. makes a bad decision, the left screams it's an injustice, and wants heads to roll. When are we as a race, not a Party, gonna man up and accept that they're are consiquences to our actions??? We have no one to blame but ourselves when we fuck up, quit finger pointing or trying to throw someone else under the bus when you fuck up.........Now, as for that fat greasy Ohio cop who ruthlessly tased that women in an obvious abuse of power goes, he should be tasered in his nut sack by that women for twenty minutes or until his bowels release upon himself and he licks it up.
