you haven't? at the very least, i like to think i try to keep mine in check. i hate the idea of being cocky or arrogant and i do what i can to be humble and modest.

I thought the slash is used when it was just to hard to tell wich grade it is. After several people have climbed it a consensus should be reached and one or the other grades assigned. I suppose the problem happens when the consensus never is reached. Ro for example.At that point I'm good with whatever the guide author assigns it. I had no idea what to give Grilled Steak until the third person that climbed it gave it a fair rating and all three agreed. I knew it was harder than anything I ever sent so it was hard for me to pin down.
