The Devil and Daniel Johnston
I highly recommend checking this documentary out. I've never even heard of this dude before now but it seems a crap load of people have. He pretty much filmed and taped his entire life and it's now a documentary. He's a kind of folk musician that has bipolar disorder/manic depression.

Children of Men sucked. It was one of the worst cliche movies I've ever seen. The plot devices were aweful, they move a girl from point to point without a good reason other than the need to make a 2 hour movie. Much of the movie was about the feel, but it was way too over done. I've read reviews comparing it to Blade Runner, how dare they. There's no comparison.
On the other hand, Pan's Labrinth was one of the best movies I've seen for a while in the theatres. Terry Gross did a great interview with Del Torro.

I rewatched In America on DVD. It made me tear up and gave me goosebumps. Check it out.

This movie was extremley good for all you new age philosophical types, I enjoyed it immensley, the best part is the trailer does it no justice and me and my wife had seperate ideas of the movies meaning. It created some serious conversation that brought us a little closer to how each other thinks and processes what we see. 4.5 stars
