I'm with you. It really has little to do with Calipari and more to do with recruiting quality players who have incentive to cheat. I really liked an article I read this morning that said Bobby Knight may be right, but he's talking about the wrong coach. Roy Williams has actually been sanctioned for NCAA violations and continues to coach. Calipari has never been found to have been sanctioned. But I'll give you the wild wild west affiliation...weird.

I just mean in terms of media exposure recently, turn on ESPN at any given time and its a 50/50 shot that they're drooling over tebow or wall. It's calmed down some since florida lost, but every win UK gets, the more and more they talk about wall (understandable, but annoying). Heck, even Dick Vitale loves the guy, and he doesn't even play for a Carolina school!

Dicki V is one of the few commentators who loves UK. The rest aren't very friendly. I do find it interesting that Wall is getting a TON of hype and Xavier Henry isn't. I think it's because no one was certain what to expect of Wall despite his incredible hs playing and the extraordinary difference in UKs program from last year to this one. It's a true pheonix whereas Kansas has been more consistent over the past few years.

I heard a guy on the radio this AM say that last night UK became the winningest college program in the world....um, dude, haven't we been the winningest program for at least the last 10-15 years? Last night didn't change that.
