Awesome idea to do the monthly payments! For me, i just do a one-time sizable donation each year. To each his own.
But hey, I've asked before but never got a response... does RRGCC sell T-shirts, hoodies, etc..? Thats always a great revenue maker. Also, a T-shirt is a nice way to say "Thank you" for people who make large donations. For example, The Access fund gives you gifts based on your donations. So if you donate $100, you get some small, but if you donate $500 you get a nice rain jacket, or fleece or something. have y'all tried partnering up with any clothing companies to do something like this? Its a great way to Rep. RRGCC by sticking your logo on the clothing you are giving!
P.S. Odub, I am currently training Peter Croft to freestyle on the mean streets of Detroit.... he wants a head-to-head rap battle with you. =)

The reason that we do not bundle mechandise with donations is a "fulfillment" problem. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, expecting a volunteer to "fulfill" orders is not reasonable. We would have to pay to have this done and then part of your donation would have to go to overhead. We are trying to keep our overhead down and put as much of your donation as possible into the PMRP purchase.
That being said we do sell or give away merchandise (t-shirts, hats, stickers, etc.) at events.

..of those 949 people, I'd guess maybe 948 are poor unemployed climbing bums, students, one time visitors, etc. Good luck. I just dump one payment a year.

Because five bucks a month is really killin' the finances- with all the crap 'broke' people waste their cash on I don't think it's too much to ask.

Well then, I shall purchase some of this apparel next time I'm at an event! Good point about the overhead, though....
And i dont think $5 a month would break the bank on even poor college kids. i mean, they manage to find money to buy pot or a case of busch light! I may get accosted for saying this, but an 1/8oz. of pot is the same cost as donating $5/month for 5 months....

so if i understand correctly, woodchuck008 believes that there is only one employed, non-student, repeat-visitor of this site?
