the $5 difference

Post by Josephine »

(also posted in the Arena thread)

did you know that this site has 3796 registered users? let's just say that each person really has 2 user names - that makes it 1898 people. now lets say that 1/2 of those people don't post on here anymore but have never deleted their user name. that makes it 949 people that use this site and - presumably - climb at the Red.

now lets say that those 949 people each gave a measly $5/month to the RRGCC. that's $4745/month. now lets say they did that for a full year. that's $56,940.

lets say they did that for 2 years. that's $113,880 + the money raised at the Reunion & Roctoberfest = paying off the PMRP in TWO YEARS instead of 5!!!! :D

and as Hamsco pointed out - all donations are tax deductible.

I signed up earlier today after The Arena post for $10. FYI $7 is the cheapest option (that I saw at least).

truello, that's awesome!!!!

$7 may be the cheapest option on the rrgcc.org site - but most banks offer an online banking bill payment service that you can customize and do $5. (i know Chase bank does for sure )

just think - if we all sign up for $10/month we could get it paid off in 1 year instead of two! :D the end is in sight!

Jo....I agree with the math and wonder where you found time to calculate it all. Know that I am on of those 3,796 people on this site...who does post, and does not have 2 user names...I also don't have a jobbie job...lol but I def plan on making my contribution to RRG and Access fund when I get my $$$$$$$$ working for Powell county PT LOL

OK, I have set up a recurring payment. It's time for each person to pester someone else. They have to pay something, even a one time payment of something, if they haven't lately, and then pester someone they know. Hey Chriss, your turn if you haven't already. Pass it along.

That was a great sell, Josephine.

I had no idea of the monthly payment option. Very cool and I just signed up too.

Life is just too crazy busy most of the time so this is definitely the easiest way to stay punctual with my responsibility of paying my climbing dues. Thanks RRGCC folks for setting up this easy option!
