I enjoyed this years race much better than last year. Even with the rain the warmer tempurature made it much more tolerable. I finished in 3:47:55, which was about a minute and a half better than last year, but I was still very happy with that time, considering the limited amount of training that I did this spring. Now I just got to figure out how to stay injury free enough to run a time that I think I'm capable of.

I'd suggest recovering some then trying Grandmas in June (i think its still in june) it's a flat course and pretty cool temps. Could take as much as 10 mins off your time. Columbus is a pretty fast run as well once you get your mileage back up. If you sub 4erd on your first marathon you probably got a 3:30 in there pretty easily. I used to mix up 10ks with sunday long runs when i ran. It seemed like a good way for me to work on speed and endurance. Pretty good times though guys:) congrats!

Thanks, for the advice. Columbus is actually the race that I was looking at. I figured I'd take a little time this summer to work on my 10K speed, then start my mileage buildup.
