hell yeah they do! have you not heard these conversations btwn me, phil, and rich before? man, if there is one thing that i would get in a fight for at the crag, it would be that.

and of course beta bitch tits bragging about his trad climbing abilities and the stupid pre-placed taboo crap. here's a quote from the human breasts himself: "let's see you get on a .13 sport route then a .13 trad route? That'll teach you!". well, i'd be impressed if he could pull his gigantic mammary glands up a 5.6. i've seen his picture on bedtime for bonzo in the photo section. did he aid that? man, that guy was the biggest toolshed i've ever witnessed in person. i didn't know someone could talk that much shit! man, it amazes me every time i think about that dude.

seriously though, what's up with the "pre-placed has no place" saying? that's kind of bullshit. just something to make the traddies feel better about themselves eh?

ok, let me clarify what i was thinking-working a route. for example, beta bill-tch tits was making fun of some guy who sent windy corner like 5th or 6th go with gear pre-placed. he then announced that he had done the route 8th go, but placing the gear on lead. that my friend is a load of crap. when you got the gear dialed, it's the same thing as clippin a fixed draw.

i'll have to agree on the onsite though. unless it's easy for you, placing gear is the hardest part a lot of times probably.

actually, now that i think about it, i may have to take back the above claim about "preplaced". i can think of one placement on one route i had worked a while that gave me trouble almost every time on the redpoiint attempt.

I agree. When I send a project I've worked for awhile placing that cam is just as quick as clipping a bolt. I've even got just the pieces I need on the right sides of my harness and in the right order. Hell, it doesn't get any easier than that.

Beta Bitch Tits Bill is the biggest shit talker in the world. No doubt about that. There's another guy out there just like him though. He lives in Cincinnati and thinks Sport Climbing is a sin. He does things like hang out on the same two cracks all day because he refuses to climb the kick ass bolted lines all around him. They play little games like "Let's see who can lead Roadside Attraction with all grapefruits on slings!" instead of going down and trying Strevels or something that would work them a bit.

This one individual loves to give me shit about my choosing to start sport climbing too. The reason he won't clip bolts though is because then he'll have to leave his safe territory where he can appear strong and bold to all the rest because there's only about 1 out of ten climbers around here that place gear. Some Trad climbers like to try and make it look like there's some mysterious karma required to place gear and jam a hand in a crack.

yep. man, you know that #1 friend placement before the crux on wtok? the where it's kinda off fingers jams and the feet blow? that piece is hard as shit to place. i would fall half the time i got there and tried to place that one.

is that other individual rat-baby or that little retarded kid from lexington who goes by the name of matt?

No man, his name is Army Andy.
He's a closet homosexual and makes more excuses than anyone in the world.
