My younger brother went through a period of making wine out of everything. Rhubarb, cherry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, peach... Most of it was quite good if you don't mind sweetness.
So are you bringing the wine next time we hit the rock?

Pilsner Urquel is excellent if you can get it fresh. Once it's been around a few months it's nothing special.
Has anyone tried Xingu black beer from Brazil?
How about Abita beers from Louisiana? I'm fond of their amber and golden and Turbodog with a couple of drops of Tabasco sauce is really nice.

Dogfish Head brewery in Delaware, makes a brew called Raison D'Etre. you can find it in Louisville. It's a Mahogany Ale,
In Estes Park Co. is a brewery that makes a brew called Stinger. An amber Ale.
But I usually go for the local corn mash aged in charred oak barrels.

I drank some of this brew this weekend. It was very good. It was like Guiness but with out the afterrtaste or the soup! very good stuff......I still remain loyal to High Life though.
