went to summersville this weekend, had no problems. great time.

seemed like a lot of people were DWS at whippoorwill & rats hole, and dozens of boats were scattered around with families rock jumping all over the place. i think we were the only boat out there doing DWS, though. we never saw the authorities once.

anybody know of decent spots to camp near summersville? we paid like $13 per night (and per person). ridiculous.

so backflips from the top are legal then since you jump facing towards the rock? this all assumes of course you stick the landing.

toad - I've noticed the enforcement at Summersville to be all or nothing. just pay attention and good luck.

Chestnut creek campground is really nice. 304-574-3136 They have shaded lots and decent showers. $9 per night per person.

you have to remember that $2/night or even $5/night is ridiculously low. The rest of the world does not operate that way.
