the libs are mostly pissed because the war effort is improving, the economy has been resilent beyond anyone's imagination, no lib has had the balls to impeach Bush, Hilary is faltering in the polls, and the democrat led congress has a lower approval rating than that son of satan Bush.

As you can see, Christmas for a liberal is not a happy time this year.

I just asked for sources, and pointed out that the only effort the Bush admin put into this bill was delaying it 7 yrs and not vetoing it. Am I totally off base in that regard? I'd be happy to discuss any of this, but Mr.Day has a tendency to avoid my comments.

This annoys me more than most anything other than the fact they are still in office. Elections suck, cause those "polls" are why impeachment got no traction.

yup charlie...people overwhelmingly voted republicans out last time around,being sick of Bush and his policies. and then the new "leaders" got their taste of power, and instead of doing what they were elected for (ending the war at least), they keep the status quo.

That said, it could be managed a bit more efficiently instead of outsourced to the highest bidder. I go back to the conversations w/ my conservative parents before we invaded. "I know Saddam's an ass, I know these people are suffering, but I do not trust this administration to pull it off. It will not improve things in the least and it will cost us decades and billions." Funny, but I'm thinking I may have been on to something there.

yeah that is good news. I'm not sure what happened in the last 1.5 years, but hatred for illegal aliens has gotten to be completely out of hand.
