Due to a lack of volunteers I guess we'll call this attempt at a fundraiser canceled. The station had to line up volunteers and for planning purposed couldn't be left hanging until election night. They found anohter high school band booster group that could get all 156 in one shot.

Thanks for all those who expressed interest in helping out. Maine is right about the time invested vs the payout. I loved to see the interest from those who jumped at the chance to volunteer. Please consider giving your time or money (like Maine said) to other fundraising events, trail days, festivals, etc.

Close?
Not to the number of voluteers needed, but definately close to the money needed for this year's payment on the PMRP. So maybe I need to turn my efforts to getting a 156 people to give ten or more bucks! Hmmm anyone wanna sponsor me in the Derby marathon, or the the 40 miler in June? I'm thinking 1, 2, 5 dollars a mile? Even if I don't finish you'll feel good about donating some money to a good cause!
