Cliimbed in the gym Friday and worked on endurance. Bouldered in the backyard Sunday because it was finally nice enough. I missed my wall more than I realized. I have caved for about 30 or so years now mostly in mamoth/roppel. Don't do too much of it anymore but it was pretty cool getting into new cave. Climbing's cleaner though and you can see without lights. Diggum kicks ass - she's a trooper.

Weekend sucked, as do most when your working for the man and his money. A slave to the paycheck and the minimal comfort it provides. You gotta love having Wed. and Thurs. off . Damn the man, KILL WHITEY! I'm not bitter though.

It was a day for the classics at the motherload on sunday-got on Breathe Right and One Eyed Willy. Kind of fun in a contorted, hold-might-break kind of way.

The sun was shining and the rock was dry, an awesome winter climbing day.

Sunday was an awesome day for climbing.
Nice & cool with blue skies...too bad noone would partake in a brew after the day of climbing with me. Pansy-asses.

Not sure who you are climbing with, but Team Suck is very much into the post climbing beer. To the point of hitting the beer trailer in the morning to make sure there is cold beer to be had directly after climbing. Then there is team hippie - they bring a cooler of beer to the crag..

I thought that route was a lot of fun-- really technical and kept your head in check, doing cruxy moves a decent distance from your last bolt. In fact, I think all 3 of those 11's are really fun, and it's nice to feel the sun beating down on you while you're on them.

Friday night devoured a bottle of merlot. got up 6am saturday, drove to ice climbing paradise, 30 min hike in through snow, climbed until dark, hiked out by head lamp, drove home. Showered, had 2 beers, went to bed. Got up sunday morning. Repeat Saturday.

Wicked weekend. awesome climbing. good friends and good times.
