Sounds like a fun way to spend a Saturday morning.

Friday was his first day taking his pills and I, being the good little wifey-to-be, set all his pills out on the counter for him. Saturday he woke up before me and administered his own medicine. You would think that since the eight pills he took Friday morn were itsy bitsy and the one pill he took was a horse pill that something would've clicked Saturday morning before he swallowed the eight horse pills in one gulp. Aw man, but the lettle yelp noise that came out of him when he realized what he had done was pretty entertaining.
All kidding aside, it was actually really scary. I now see that is can be really easy to accidentally overdose. Poor Ray, what he went through was pretty gross with that activated charcoal drink. But he's actually extremely lucky that he didn't have to get his stomach pumped or, worse, had a bad reaction to the meds.

That had to be scary! Sorry no buzz, Sir!

I'm glad you didn't have to have your stomach pumped. I had my tummy pumped when I was two. I drank a glass of kerosene, and I still remember the experience.
Hope all is as normal as can be now. Take care!

Mmmmm. Kerosene.
Artsay: Maybe it's time to get one of those little pill boxes for every day of the week that that little Ray doesn't get mixed up again. We wouldn't want him to hurt his wittle tummy.
SCIN, have you gotten to the best part about drinking charcol yet? If not, you might want to consider getting some Ex-Lax soon. I've heard that stuff can be a riot a day or so later.

jeebus, ray! I had the same syptoms after I was dropped from the 5th bolt of Cut Throat. I had a fucked up disk as well.
There are all kinds of physical therapy things that they can do for you with this sort of injury. The surgery sucks ass however! They have to go in through the front on your neck and there is a chance (however slight) that one might lose ones voice. This would have prolly been deemed a blessing for those around me but I kind of like my voice.
Hope that you recover nice and fast.

ouch, hope it heals quickly
watch out how long you take the prednisone it as it has tons of nasty side effects. I took some for poison ivy a year ago or so and my skin has never been the same (it overreacts to any type of irritation since). Wished I would have just waited it out now. Not too sure about the other 2 drugs--

That sucks man. Did the surgery fix your condition? Is that why the route is named Cut Throat?

But did he get to climb on Saturday?
I had to drink something like that for some exam ... I totally empathize on how horrible the stuff is. Glad you're okay.
