Hi Canuck, it was nice to meet you at the party. I heard that about preventing absorption. I try to drink 2 to 3 times as much water per cup of coffee. Someone tell me it's okay. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Alcohol does that for calcium too. Also, tea and coffee prevent absorption of iron. It's not the caffeine that does it, it's something else like tannins. Anyway, don't drink either an hour before or two hours after a meal. Doing this helped me recover from anemia.

i kicked my coffee habit over five years ago. i was definately addicted and it wasn't even keeping me awake anymore.

now i am developing an advil addiction. i seem to experience pain when i am not on advil. does anyone know how to kick that? :wink:
