I would have taken them if they where those shiny Petzl kind and replaced them with 1/2 worn out biners on the anchor. You know, for convenience. The same convenience that the full draws would have afforded. Because I'm nice!

guess i'll just jump on the bandwagon too and start ripping anchor draws. i should have about fifty more by next tuesday. while i'm at it, i'll gank all of those lowering 'biners @ mid route, too.

someone make a tombstone. on it, write: "R.I.P. - RRG sense of community". you can even use that 500lb slab of rock at the base of fuzzy.

"rationalize petty theft"? How about rationalize petty littering? I think hikers in the DBNF should leave water bottles and what not all along the trails so they don't have to pack out so much water.

Wow, seems like a bunch of people posting that don't even know what hte OP is asking.

This wasn't fixed gear, these aren't even project draws! This is some dope who left two draws on the anchor for some unknown reason and expects that they'll still be there weeks later intending to take them back.

In all my years climbing in the Gorge I have never seen two full quickdraws left on the anchors of a climb, if I did I would consider it abandoned because there is absolutely no reason what so ever to leave 2 full quickdraws on the anchors unless you are not smart. If I did for some reason have to leave draws on the anchor and went back to get them and they were gone I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I sure hope all of the comments saying people would definitely take two draws left on the anchors are just people being sarcastic. But I highly doubt it. Its pretty shitty if you ask me. People should just clip them and be appreciative that they are there, and the route is easier to clean. But no, people aren't like that. Just like, a while back, someone I know climbed Ro Shampo just to take a biner off the third bolt as booty. He said, it had to be a bail biner. I said, maybe it was a cleaning biner, since that route is a pain to clean. Thats just how people are. I guess we should start taking the anchor draws off everything now....seems to be the consensus.

P.S. hope you get your draws back, and next time don't leave anything.

Has anyone returned them Toad??? Just for the record it sucks that your shit got looted. If I had grabbed that booty and read your post I would at least step forward and offer them back to you for a small fee. Because I'm nice!

100% correct. I would have taken them, but I wouldn't have used them in my own personal rack of draws. I would have placed them on another route as "actual" fixed gear. I have no need for more personal draws, but lots of need for replacing old gear. I would have at least recycled them into the community.

Sorry bro, no one should leave two full draws on the anchors of a climb with no other gear and expect them to still be there.
