I think it just depends on the climb. I almost always use tape when I am leading, but when I was on Crack attack, one of my gloves fell off and I didnt even know the difference. Get on one of the sharp hand eaters, and slipping or no slipping, your gonna be torn up when you get to the top.

I didn't tape for a year, spraydog. My jamming technique didn't change.
I still don't tape if I'm on easy to moderate routes ( just to save money).
If you were to get on aggro every once in awhile then you would tape too. However, you seem to enjoy climbing routes that my grandma can do in her wheelchair.

I have climbed without tape several times ubg, probably long before you were even climbing. i just like taping better. alot of the granite cracks out west are a little more friendly on the back of your hands.some the cracks in the red have those very unfriendly quartz pebbles inside.

ubg, just remember you wanted me to tape my dick up before i stuck it in you back in the creek.

I got fussed at for making references to normal sexual behavior.Doing it in an offwidth is normal,isnt it?

I use some foam pre-wrap before taping. I don't use gloves, just a new tape job each day.

hey dude, just 'cause my climbing sux doesn't mean that I need tape. If your SCIN is that soft and sensitive, then maybe you need to tape.
