it is bad. very bad.
but, ahh, a fecund query.
of course, you realize your asking the 'victims.' if one of them approaches you at some isolated crag and asks if you want to buy some booty, Just Say No.
when i was 15 i just thought the world was predictable, boxed up and off the shelf. it couldn't imagine being obsessed with anything. i imagine that being obsessed though isn't really the issue, many of your peers are likely 'consumed' with video games or whatnot. many responses here have indicated the importance of being balanced. in particular, though you're 15 and everybody expects you to be totally self absorbed, try to think of what other peoples' perspective might be. in this sense, your obsession is not so much with climbing as it could be with yourself. reaching out to other people, as you've done with this post, is a great way to stay impassioned and grounded.
with that, having other interests will give you a great excuse to rest for a few days, which you will want (god i hope so anyway) in a few years (like 10!?) so that if and when you get a good job, you choose where you want to live and what your schedule will be, allowing you to do what you want for many years.
and one last point. you naively use the word 'obsessed.' don't feel guilty. you are the victim here of society. this is preemptive health. see the following (and you know i love you pigsteak) for an expert example:

oh, one more thought-if your want to quit, be my partner at muscle beach in two weeks and i'd give it better than 50/50 odds you'll never want to climb again.
see you around.

climbing makes your food taste better, dirt prettier, and girls-well, i'm sure your mother will tell you. it's the shizzit uber alles.
but, what can also be a beautiful part of the discovery is that you will also almost certainly get either injured and/or burnt out. you are the process.
reach as far as you can, then step up.

you can loose yourself in it.
Ecclesiatstes 11:9 is very informative and demonstrates how Solomon was totally down for hedonism and chasing the dream-
"Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: "
but then goes on to say how you will pay the piper
"but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment."
can't win.
Try moderation-
eh...
sounds like you already made your choice. Just don't become a sprayer.

purity.
goodness.
addiction.
best thing ever.
pick of the chicks.
noble.
all lies.
climbing is about you, how hard you can climb, how much you can spray. others "pretend" to be in it for some jacked up reason, but what drives a person in their heart is improvement and success. either that or their 9 to 5 sucks so bad they are escaping on the weekends to pretend to have something bigger than themselves to do. it really is a time waster my friend. just be honest with what it provides and carry on.
