Awesome! I know who she is. I work in Biology. I'll talk to her tomorrow. Thanks for all the info.

Lordjim thanks for the info about the SKS.

Hey, someone tell the above shooter in photo to LOOK where she's pointing that gun. We climbers believe in total gun safety I'm sure, just like we practice climbing safely. It does look like a nice hammerless double action concealable pocket size thug-stopper. Let's all show our guns here! More photos!

While you are at it--get a hand gun for the tent. It is much easier to grab and shoot when you are sleepy. Get a double action so you won't have to deal with a safety. I have a 32 cal semi automatic pistol; (Kel-Tech)sp? And a 25 cal Browning (but this has a safety--kind of a pain). These little guns are light weight and I carry one when I mountain bike alone out in the woods all day. The Kel-tec is best for this because it won't fire with a bullet in the chamber if I crash or something.

It's a doulble action, the first half of your pull on the trigger is the safety, pull it all the way back and it fires. The benefit is that you can have a bullet in the chamber and drop it or whatever and it won't accidenally fire. But pull the trigger all the way back and it fires (you don't have to push a safety botton or lever first). You also don't have to load the chamber before you shoot--Just point and shoot POW! 8)

I really miss my glock .40, but I think a sig 9mm is in my future, along with maybe a shotgun.

Nice Spring time stroll last year. Ladies, check. Guns, check. Dogs, check.

This Fall:
Bourbon, ale 8, Franchi 12 ga over and under. 700 rounds of skeet, thrower bolted on to spare tire. It's funny how when you're doing this it seems perfectly normal. Seems red as hell now.
