Well, sorta. Turtles are aquatic, tortoises are terrestrial. Perhaps Ahab is hinting at the presence of extraterrestrial tortoises somewhere out in the desert.

lay off the peyote day. what i was hinting at is that you may, or may not be a replicant.
please take a moment to answer the following questions:
1. You're walking in the desert, and you find a tortoise, on it's back. It's struggling to right itself, but it can't.
IMMEDIATE RESPONSE: DON'T THINK JUST ANSWER!
a. feel sad
b. feel neutral
c. feel smug
2. Wait one second, then answer:
a. I feel bad and want to help
b. I wonder how it got that way
c. Not my turtle, not my problem
3. Now take your time and think it over...
a. I grab the tortoise and flip it upright.
b. I lever the tortoise over from a distance.
c. I leave the tortoise to it's own devices.
d. I take a photo of the tortoise.

Larry these boyz are obviously playing off the movie Blade Runner. When Leone said, "tortoise, what's that?" The interrogator said, "You know what a turtle is Leone . . . . same thing."
I figured I'd play too.

What? Replicants have no feelings? I believe the correct answer is - Ignite a mesquite bush with one's laser vision and have an impromptu cookout.

day, please step aside and prepare to be shaved, de-loused and quarintined.
according to Patriot Act, Section I, Title XIII, you are to be armed and sent to an undisclosed location in the Middle East (Iraq), immediately. believe me when i say that this is for your own protection.
guys, that was a close one.

Thanks Caribe, somehow I've never seen Blade Runner, which is odd because I really like good Sci-Fi.
