Shouldn't every archaeologist carry a gun to fight off the Nazi's? Good times.
Just saw lucky number sleven (I know, I am a little late). Also good times.

As far as scary/thriller goes: Fallen. It's not blood & gore but more disturbing.

hearn wrote:Children of Men sucked. It was one of the worst cliche movies I've ever seen. The plot devices were aweful, they move a girl from point to point without a good reason other than the need to make a 2 hour movie. Much of the movie was about the feel, but it was way too over done. I've read reviews comparing it to Blade Runner, how dare they. There's no comparison.
The thing about Children that was unique was the fact that the director used some unorthodox filming techniques. The climatic action sequence was filmed in real time with one take using multiple cameras. It was a one shot deal do to the fact that a lot of the set is destroyed in that sequence.
If you notice part way through the shot a small drop of ?"blood"? ends up on the camera lens and is there till the camera angle changes. I saw a interview with the director and he said he used the non edited ( the longest in film history) to show the chaos of battle and that the drop of blood was an accident that turn out to work in the film it could have easily ruined the shot. I give him props for not using the easy and tried and true "Bring in the computer animators to make this feel real."
I agree its NO Bladerunner for sure. Sorry for the late reply but Im not on here alot.
