Ive tried to refrain from posting on this topic, but i finally gave in. As far as the athiest on here posting about christianity and the current war's, your words hold no weight in the argument, because i am for certain that none of you served "much less ever stood for anything" in either. Ive spent more time there than i want, and continue to serve. I can agree on some of the mishap's such as WMD's and what ever other argument that you stated by watching the news, but i also witnessed many thankfull civilians that had been liberated from tyranny. And i will gladly continue to fight for them, Muslims. And where has been the first mention of christians vs muslim's in this war "From people that mattered" Besides liberal's simply trying to bash everything. As far as religion in general, It is sad to see PEOPLE talk the way they do about christians, note "people" not athiest. A best friend and great climbing companion of mine is an athiest. We have shared many hardships and rewards on long snowy alpine routes. He thinks we'll all end up as worm food and I think that those who have accepted Jesus christ as our savior will go to heaven. Not once has he ever talked down on christians but rather admired them for there faith and love.I have done my work as a christian to a friend, but i respect his beliefs and understand anymore would compromise our friendship and that would be a loss of a great friend. But goes to show the problem lies in the person. As far as me trying to make my argument on the existence of god, well, that's hard to do for those that already have there mind made up. I mean, how in the hell do we even know for sure that George Washington was real, I can argue that for days if i wanted too. For those in here bashing christians, you are weak, simple minded individuals that have no true belief in anything there for you must talk down on those that do. but you can keep on calling yourselves fine pillars of society if you want too. And for the record, I am a climber, and i train seriously for it as in all disciplines in life, and i dont label myself as some liberal, hippie, poopflinging, bongo playing, bruh, bruh. LOL

Clevis... Why are you suprised by the fact that we are talking about christians????????????? Because that is what we are surrounded by???? Maybe??? I think you can figure that one out. we talk about what we know. If we were in the middle east?? do you think they we would be talking about muslims??? most likely...I dont give a shit what you believe in... I am a ATHEIST, one that does not believe there is a god. A theist is one that does believe there is a god. I do not dislike anybody for that matter, and i dont think that one religion that believes in a god is more right then the other. they are all wrong (i believe).

Your point is worthless.

Faith and love? That's funny. You don't have to be religious to love.

We are not bashing christians, just giving our thought. Its up to you whether or not you take it as an insult. Having hurt feels doesn't count as an argument.

Weak? Simple minded? That's really unfair. You don't know us. You pretend to know us and that's the problem.

"The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God'"- Proverbs

I don't feel hurt or insulted. In fact, I'm trying to keep the tone civil. Anyone who can look at this beautiful world with all of its wonders and all of the creatures that inhabit it and say there is no God is ignoring the greatest of evidence.

Ronald Regan told of sitting an atheist down to a lavish seven course meal and at the end of all of the servings asking him if he believed there was a cook.
