There is such a thing as climbing etiquette that some have never heard of. She is an old school climber. Not many of those left around here, much less still bolting. If she was an old school male person still bolting hard stuff in the red you would be cowtowing.

You are merely intimidated as hell by a woman. Then on top of that you can't climb half as strong. You will NEVER EVER be as good a climber as a woman twice your age. That is your main problem.

You have been privy to special board conversations and they were supposed to be privileged. Do you even know what confidential means?
Being on a board of any company and/or non-profit brings some rules of etiquette. Now I'm not saying that all the board follows these, but please don't presume that you are following them when you spew all your dirty laundry all over this site.

I've heard she's asked people to leave from a ton of folks too, folks whom I respect are being truthful. But I could care less, honestly. I support the RRGCC because they're all we have but there is a black clowd that hangs over them. A ton of good people have to work hard mentally at supporting them. Look at Muir...they ask for volunteers and are swarmed by offers. It comes easy to them because they make people feel good. Honestly, I feel I've received more guilt trips from the RRGCC than warm fuzzies. Thank Gretchen for that...

As for Wes...
He doesn't repeat "heresay". He is not a gossip. Wes is a respected person in the climbing community and has earned his reputation by being truthful, understanding, and even-keeled. He doesn't have an agenda to push and isn't competitivie in the least. I don't know what your crap about being intimidated by SSS is either. All you're doing is making SSS look bad with what you're saying.

I honestly don't know anything about SSS. She's always been nice to me so anything I say is true hearsay. However, I've heard from at least five people who wanted to help her who she pushed away. That's kinda weird. Why turn help away?

I agree - jimmydean's tirades are only making SSS and the coalition look worse.

I say let's shut the RRGCC down for good. Take it off life support doctors. No sense reviving it.
