A bitch for sure. I find it amazing that her and Shannon are still the ones driving the rrgcc agenda. They are two of the most anti-social, elitist climbers I have ever met. I truelly believe that they would rather have the preserve totally to themselves - I mean, Shannon has actually asked people to leave a crag on the murry property before.

Interesting thread on the RRGCC site. The poster who suggested info about the new murray property routes is right. People won't go if they don't have information - especially when there is plenty of info about other crags and Muir. Why futz around looking for climbs at murray when you know where everything is courtesy of this great web site and John's guidebook? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to go there and climb, but I get to climb so little that if I don't know there are easier grades at a crag, I won't risk going.

It's posts and controversies like this where i miss the balanced wisdom of johnny the king - he always got people to try to work things out together and to focus on making the red a great place to climb and to hang out, he also made people feel good about being involved in the coalition - we need that kind of wisdom.

Amen. The diffence between Muir and the Murry property is amazing. People are inspired to help Rick and Liz. And they do a great job letting people run with projects. The rrgcc, on the other hand....
